Arrived just as they were opening; however, this was not an impediment to serve us great tasting Peruvian food. The tallarin saltado was perfectly made and the portions were adequate. Our table also ordered two embarque marinos which I found a great idea if you want to try a few different things. Service was excellent and the ambiance was on point. Highly recommended for lunch!

The food was flavorful! The attention was great from the waiter. I enjoyed the vibe from the restaurant. Good amount of food for the price. I also ordered the CHICHA MORADA in a pitcher. It was very tasty. I will definitely come back!

I been wanting to try this new addition to the neighborhood. I came in for lunch during the week and there were some patrons eating. I went with the traditional pisco which was really good and strong enough without ruining the taste. I also tried the red sangria and it was great. My husband and I decided to share the rotisserie chicken, fries, avocado salad, seafood chaufa (fried rice) and tostones. All of the food was great but I was wowed by the chaufa. I have tried many chaufas ib my life but this has to be the best one. Not only was it delicious but the taste was super elevated. This dish gave me manhattan fine dining vibes. I will definitely will be coming back for the chaufa and pisco.

I'm not sure why there are such low ratings for this restaurant. Maybe I went after the kinks were all worked out. The place was well decorated, very clean, and the service was great. We at first sat at the high tabletop section on backless chairs, but it was too dark and uncomfortable, so we asked to be seated at a low table. They were happy to oblige, and it was a much better dining experience. There's a lot of televisions, so it is a perfect setting to watch games here. When they gave us the drink menu, we were asked if we ever had pisco before. We never did, so the waitress gave us shots on the house. It was very nice of her to do that for us. The shot was strong, so we all decided not to get a pisco drink. However, we did get this non alcoholic drink called Chicha Morada. It tasted like a virgin sangria. I recommend it! Food wise, my group all ordered different items off the menu. I got the tallerin saltado, which is a Peruvian spaghetti. It was good, but I had to add the green sauce that they gave us to it. Got a side of fries with the green sauce, too. My friends got other dishes, like the ceviche mixto and the entrana a la parrilla. Both were very delicious. Last but not least, we all shared the tres leches cake dessert. I would like to go back in the future to try other things from the menu.

Came to Limena during their soft opening and Sunnside Restaurant week. The Pisco sours were delicious and the food was great. Especially their ceviche which is always a favorite of mine. The service was on point, food did not take long, and everyone in our party was happy. They also did a great job with the ambiance, I never set foot in the pub that used to be here but seemed like an older place. Now it feels like a trendy Latin spot that I can come with friends or family. So glad to have another great addition to the neighborhood.

This is a new Peruvian restaurant in Sunnyside and I'm glad I found it! It's a small restaurant with a decent sized bar and tv screens to watch sports. Looks like it used to be an Irish bar. Anyways our waitress and bartender were super courteous and she offered great recommendations for drinks. We first tried the butterfly pisco (I don't remember the exact name but it had butterfly in it lol) which was delicious. We tried another pisco drink that was refreshing (the title had Green in it) but I preferred the butterfly one. The lomo saltado was tasteful and perfectly portion sized. The ceviche mixto was fresh and tasty. If I'm in the area I would come here again.

This the hottest new Peruvian spot located in Sunnyside,Queens. First off the music and ambience was a vibe !! They had their soft opening this week and it has me anticipating their grand opening!!! The menu didn't have a crazy amount of options but just the right amount to have you wanting to come back to try more. They gave us complimentary pisco with a grape as a topper because pisco is made from grapes. I thought that was unique & something I haven't experienced. They also had a variety of cocktails with pisco that were delicious. When deciding if I'll come back to a Peruvian restaurant the dish that's a make or break for me is the "anticuchos". I was absolutely blown away at how well seasoned and cooked it was! I almost didn't want to share that app! (Make sure your order it, don't say I didn't tell you) . The other apps and main dishes were also really good. I enjoyed that the Tallarines Verdes was creamy! The tres leeches was a game changer I had no words with how it melted after every bite.
